Unless the video is just so distorted that I can't make heads nor tails of what's going on, I don't care about picture quality. I mean, what we're seeing is what people watched in AWE 50 years ago... so if it was good enough for them, it's good enough for me. But, no, I don't really see any difference at all between DVD and using my TV as a second monitor. I prefer just laying in bed watching all this stuff on my computer.
